A DECADE OF PAIN - 9/11

102 minutes.

An hour and 42 minutes was more than enough to almost destroy half of the United States Of America. Two planes were hijacked by terrorists and were made to ram into the World Trade Towers - Towers that you'd see from your airplane windows and exclaim loudly!
It took people many many many days to get used to the fact that the Towers they see everyday or in which many of them who bothered to survive, worked or people who lost their loved ones, those towers aren't there anymore. It was difficult and I am sure it still is difficult for them to ever acclimatize to the fact that World Trade Towers are nothing but debris now.
Around 2996 people lost their lives in these terrifying attacks that happened at a normal day in the capital of the country.
A man would have kissed his wife and kids good-bye and never knew who would ever say good-bye again.
A father who must have been off to work after dropping his kids to school and never realized that now the kids wouldn't have a father.
A lady who mustn't have had her breakfast and rushed to her office with her mother yelling at her to eat during break-time and she never knew that her daughter would never eat again.

For all of us, 9/11 is just a date that happened 10 years ago and was a mass destruction but to those families who lost their sources of incomes and more than that, THEIR OWN PEOPLE, its more than just a date. Its a pain. Its a grief. Its a sense of emptiness. Its a feeling of anger.

United States of America after 10 years stands tall and strong and ready for any attack! None of us have heard of any little cracker being burst there after this devastating date. They have revived into their own lives but what about Terrorism? When will this filthy disease end? How many more 9/11 does any country need to wake up? At the end of the day, its us! WE - who have to stand up against this and fight with all our will to make sure that our country is safe.

As for now, I and each and every citizen of my country sincerely pay a tribute to this catastrophe and Salute to the the people of United States of America for standing strong after this attack.

Animals - a neglected world.

Some of us love dogs, some of us love cats, some of us love birds and some of us just don’t care. If hurting our best friend makes us go madly apologetic towards them then why not apologize to those few pigs that are made to run off by letting your dogs run on them? Why not apologize to those hundreds of birds who are being shot almost every week just for the passion of the dirty game of hunting? Why not apologize to a dog who comes around your house in anticipation of a bread and we rush them away?
This is not the first time such injustices on animals have happened and it sure won’t be the last time they ever do but is it okay to punish a little, innocent creature for having a fight with your friends. Over the few years, Delhi has opened many NGOs to support animals and have been successful in it. After many requests of having to adopt pets from the roadside not much of an active response has come. Even today, reckless, under-aged drivers tend to run over cows or even squirrels and all we can do is look, feel sorry and maybe update our Facebook status after that! Remember the “Save Tiger” campaign organized by Aircel about how a few tigers were left and how all of us started wearing that badge of ‘Save Tigers’ and roaming about? Even today that campaign is on and wants participation. It wants help to save the tiger! The little creature that comes into this world to explore it but ruthless hunters shoot them for their skin. Delhi Govt. has banned Hunting and Poaching but what about the people doing it, will their mind ever ban it?
Eventually next year another organization will come up like this and we would just feel sorry. Being sorry will not help. One has to stand for the wrong. We, people have our lawyers and courts to fight for our injustices, to stand for the right but what about the animals… they do not have any high court to give them justice or a place in this world where they exist in peace and not in PIECE! So let no campaign or oragnisation wake up the true person in you, let it be the true heart in you that stands for the wrong happening to environment and stop it. Let it be YOU who stands up for this cause of supporting animals and helping one injured animal to live.
Whenever we get hurt or even have a stomach ache, for that matter, we shout and scream in pain and need desperate relief but those animals… they don’t speak like us and we don’t listen like them but whatever pain we see, we can help them because it feels really good to do a good deed like saving a life, try it once, it may not be something as good as a BlackBerry but its equal to chances of getting one.

Give them justice, they might not say it but they do need it.

My first feed

My Blog name might have got everyone thinking as to what exactly the blog will be all about. You see, my blog will encapsulate everything from general issues to environmental issues and debates. The main reason why I write this is to make everyone aware of all the injustices happening with environment.
Now, I know I am not the first one who has initiated this but I do wanna be the one to make some change within human minds! I want everyone to just once stop and look about around you and see the posh houses you have built on one-time forests or see the way many people in Delhi stand on roadsides and water the plants....not by water, though. I want everyone to once help a little pup or dog or cow if they are injured and not scrunch up their nose and walk off with a cloth on their mouth.
so my main aim is TO MAKE A CHANGE.
